Meet the therapist
As long as I can remember, I have had an intuition towards healing, and wanting to help fellow humans in a significant way. I was drawn to music as a young child, much of my family was musically talented and so I initially went to college to be a music teacher. After realizing that working in a school system was not what I wanted, I changed paths and engaged in a long career in the medical field and emergency services, working in Corrections, EMS, fire service, hospitals and medical offices. Each place had its various levels of service towards my community, but I never felt like I was able to impact people on a one on one basis. I had been drawn to massage for a long time before making the jump to embrace my desire to do something different, learn more and develop the skills I have. I enrolled in the Therapeutic Bodywork Learning Center in September of 2022, and graduated in October, 2023.
I knew I wanted to share my gift of healing and energy with the world, and so Sea Salt and Sage Massage was born. Both sea salt and sage are frequently used to cleanse objects, environments, and people, so it seemed fitting that this would be the symbols of my practice. Soothing muscles and releasing pain is important, but cleansing the mind, and the spirit are equally important and special, making this the underlying focus of my practice, to assist with whole body healing.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing and listening to music, working on various crafts, traveling with my husband and son, and snuggling with my dog and two cats.
